Each datacenter proxy is a dedicated static IPv4 address on a server in a data center. Xameleon is launching them in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Germany for lawful business use.
The difference is where the IP address comes from. Pick the type that matches the task.
Mobile proxies in the United Kingdom and Germany are coming soon. Read what mobile proxies are or compare mobile and datacenter proxies.

Datacenter proxies are proxy IP addresses on servers in data centers. Each Xameleon datacenter proxy is a dedicated static IPv4 address assigned to one customer, and the sites you visit through it see the address of a server in the country you chose. Xameleon is launching datacenter proxies in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Germany.
Choose datacenter proxies when a task needs a dedicated, fixed address in a given country. Choose 4G mobile proxies when the task depends on the mobile carrier network itself, for example when you check how a site or an ad appears on mobile. Our guide to mobile vs datacenter proxies explains how IP types differ.
The difference is where the IP address comes from. A datacenter proxy uses the address of a server in a data center, and a mobile proxy uses an address from a mobile carrier's network. Neither type is better in every case, so match the type to the job.

Datacenter proxies launch in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Germany. Pick the country that matches the market you want to check. 4G mobile proxies launch in the United States, Ukraine and Moldova, and the United Kingdom and Germany are coming soon for mobile proxies, so datacenter proxies cover those two countries at launch.
Teams use them for collecting public data, monitoring prices and availability, checking search results by location and verifying ads and landing pages.
Every task follows the same ground rules. Check the website's terms and robots.txt, keep your request rate reasonable and use only data you are allowed to use. The Acceptable Use Policy and our guide to secure and responsible proxy use set out what is expected.
Datacenter proxies are ordered per IP for 1 day ($1.50), 7 days ($5) or 30 days ($12), and each IP includes 2, 10 or 30 GB of traffic for the period; extra traffic costs $0.40 per GB. You connect over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 with a login and password. Checkout opens with the launch. Until then you can open the Quick Purchase configurator to see how an order is built, or write to [email protected] with questions.
