Managed proxy services: how Xameleon runs the infrastructure for you

With managed proxy services, the hard part becomes our job. Xameleon operates the modems, keeps the network in good shape and takes care of monitoring, maintenance and updates. You describe the locations, volume and use case you need, and you work with reliable mobile proxies without running any hardware yourself.

Standard plans are self-service, so they are the simplest place to start. Compare plans and per-country prices on the mobile proxy pricing page, and move to a managed setup when you need more capacity, tailored locations or direct contact with our team.

What managed mobile proxies include

Managed mobile proxies come as pools of 4G capacity that we run and maintain for you. Alongside the pool, you get monitoring, maintenance and updates handled by us, plus direct contact with the team. Packages are flexible and scale from a small team up to an enterprise. How the proxies are used stays your responsibility: lawful purposes, robots.txt and the terms of the sites you visit.

During onboarding we prepare your access and guide you through the first connection. After that, your team connects the way it would to any HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 proxy. The guide on how to use mobile proxies covers testing a connection.

Proxy infrastructure management: what you stop doing

Running modems yourself means sourcing hardware, watching signal and health, applying updates and fixing faults. With proxy infrastructure management on our side, those jobs leave your task list. Your team can focus on what the proxies are for, such as collecting public data, monitoring prices and availability or verifying ads.

Custom capacity and tailored locations

Managed services add custom capacity and tailored locations to what the standard plans offer. Launch locations are the United States, Ukraine and Moldova, and more are coming soon. Tell us where your traffic needs to originate, how much volume you expect and what the proxies will do, and we reply with a proposal. Volume, locations and the level of support all affect the price, so each case is quoted individually.

How to start with managed proxy services

Start with a conversation. Describe your needs, receive a proposal with a plan and pricing, and go through onboarding. Afterwards our team runs the service day to day and supports you as volume grows. You can also begin small: take a standard plan through quick purchase and move up to managed services when your workload outgrows it.

Whatever the setup, proxies are for lawful business use. Read the guide to responsible proxy use and our Acceptable Use Policy before you start.
